The Offering of Letters is a way for us to embody hope; a way for us to be the hands, feet, and voice of Christ in the world. And we can begin right now!

— To verify your members of Congress, click here
—Whatever you choose to write, be sure to ask for a specific action such as “I urge you to fully fund and strengthen WIC, and provide robust funding for global nutrition programs.”
—Also be sure to share a personal reason or story that motivates you to write
—Consider adding in our church’s commitment to ending hunger, such as: “My church is alleviating hunger through our Helping Hands Food Pantry, but I also urge you to fully fund and strengthen these pro-family, life-affirming nutrition programs.”
—Write your name and address at the end of your letter so your members of Congress know you are one of their constituents
— After you finish your letter(s), please bring them to church so we can pray over them, celebrate all the letters together, and then mail them.
Or, if you are unable to bring your letters to church, please mail them to your members’ local offices and then let Pastor Dave know you sent them.
