Soccer Sunday Returns This Fall!
Minooka UMC is excited to bring back Soccer Sunday as a fun, community-centered fall soccer league for kids and families.
This league is being designed as a recreational, developmental experience focused on fun, teamwork, skill-building, and encouragement. The plan is for a fall season built around one practice and one game each week, with a format that is family-friendly and designed for younger players.
We’re still finalizing details, including the official start date, but now is the perfect time to let us know you’re interested!
What to Expect
While final details are still being confirmed, the planned fall league will likely include:

- One practice and one game each week
- A focus on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun
- Age-appropriate coaching and support
- A welcoming environment for both returning families and those brand new to soccer
- We are building this with families in mind, and we want it to feel approachable, affordable, and easy to join.
We're Also Looking for Volunteers
A great league depends on great people. We are currently looking for volunteers who may be interested in helping with:
- Coaching or assistant coaching
- Refereeing
- Game-day helpers
- Hospitality and welcoming families
You do not need soccer experience to help! We will provide guidance and support. If you’d like to be part of building something meaningful for kids and families in our community, we’d love to hear from you.
