Serve & Volunteer

The church needs many volunteers to make our services, groups, and events a success. These are low pressure positions that can be one time, a few times a month, or as often as you like. If you want to dip your toe in, Sunday may be a good place to start. We need volunteers to greet people at the front door and ushers to help assist attendees find a seat. Helpers are needed to prepare Communion elements before services and Communion servers are needed once a month. Hosts are needed to provide simple snacks and coffee for our Fellowship hour before the 9:30am service. Are you more experienced or would you like to dive right in? The media center needs help running PowerPoints at all services. Training is provided. Song leaders are also needed for all our worship services.

Do you love working with youth? The church follows Safe Sanctuaries® guidelines which require two adults to be present with children during nursery care, classroom instruction, youth outings and special events (i.e. Vacation Bible School). We are always in need of Sunday School class aides as well. Training and a background check paid for by the church is required for each volunteer interested in working with children.

There are many events year-round that require lots of hands such as our Friday Fish Fry’s, Turkey Dinner, preparing meals for the Daybreak Center just to name a few.
