Connect with other likeminded members

Our church groups offer a variety of ways for you to get involved and make connections. From Bible studies to book clubs, each group provides a unique space for fellowship, learning, and spiritual growth. Join one or more of our groups to build relationships, explore your faith, and support one another in your spiritual journeys.

Women’s Bible Study (Faith Talk)

Every Tuesday at Noon

All women are invited to join this Bible study. Preparation is not needed, and materials are provided. Chapters or excerpts are read aloud, and discussion follows. This group offers a supportive and nurturing environment for women to ask questions, share insights, and grow in their faith. Join us for thoughtful discussions and meaningful fellowship.

Book Club

4th Monday of the month at 7:00pm

Each month, we select a book that provides insight into faith, life, and the world around us. Participants come together to find a deeper meaning. All book selections are advertised in the weekly announcements. Our discussions are lively and engaging, offering a chance to delve deeper into the themes and messages of each book. This group is open to all who enjoy reading and thoughtful conversation.

United Women in Faith

2nd Monday of the Month at 1:30pm

United Women in Faith (UWF) offers all Methodist women opportunities for spiritual growth, leadership development, transformative education, and service and advocacy. This dynamic and inclusive group focuses on spiritual growth, fellowship, and mission work.

  • Afternoon Circle - This group meets monthly (with the exception of June, July, and August) for study, spiritual growth, and fellowship. Meetings take place at the church.
  • Funeral Luncheon Committee - Funeral luncheons are provided by UWF and MUMC volunteers who prepare and serve meals for families and their guests. This group also provides facility set up and cleanup.

Joining a small group at Minooka United Methodist Church is a wonderful way to deepen your faith, build lasting friendships, and find your place within our church community. We invite you to explore these opportunities and get connected today! For more information about any of these groups, please contact the church office at [email protected] or call (815) 467-2322.
